Thank You for Your Support: New Beginnings

Dear Friends,

I’ve been meaning to reach out for a while now, and today finally feels like the right moment to pause and reflect. As I think about everything the past five years have brought—both challenges and blessings—I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for your support. You’ve been there through it all, and it’s long overdue that I share these updates with you.

My work with Happy Givers remains close to my heart. Thanks to your emotional and financial support, I’ve had the chance to be part of some truly impactful projects—expanding the community farm, feeding the elderly, and helping strengthen the community here. The impact we’ve made together is something I’ll always carry with me.

Last year marked a big shift as I transitioned from my full-time role at Happy Givers to a new chapter. I now work online full-time as an associate editor for a family of medical journals, which has been a huge blessing. This job allows me to access more consistent healthcare here in Florida, a crucial step in managing my health. I’m happy to report that I’m doing well, and although living with ovarian cancer and ITP is still a challenge, I remain focused on the future. My medication, with a $500 co-pay each month, continues to be vital, and I’m beyond grateful for the support that has allowed me to stay healthy.

Although I no longer need personal donations, my connection to Happy Givers is as strong as ever. I still visit the campus a few times a week (when I’m not traveling) and stay involved in the projects I love. Happy Givers continues to grow and thrive, and they still need financial support to keep their incredible work going. Your past support has been essential, and it remains just as important now.

For those who’ve supported me financially over the years, I have some exciting news. Your automatic donations are now being redirected to the Happy Givers foundation, which means your contributions will continue to fuel the amazing work they’re doing. If you feel the need to pause or adjust your donations, I completely understand—your past generosity has meant the world to me, and I’m endlessly grateful.

Thank you for being by my side through everything. Your love, strength, and encouragement have carried me through, and I’m excited for what the future holds. Here’s to a new chapter of health, happiness, and continued impact!

With all my love,
Natalie
